Friday's reading materials
All reading classes on Fridays are using National Geographic Magazine for Kids. These weekly magazines feature news from across the world with an environmental focus. It includes sections on animals and nature, history, people and places, space and science.

The website features different people, animals and places each month with facts, games, activities, and related links.
Why??? Because expository text is tested on the ARMT reading portion of the test.
Expository text or writing gives information or explains. Nonfiction (true) books fall into this category. Expository writing is also one category on the ADAW test for 5
