Mrs. Shade, Ms. Mitchell, Ms. Taylor

Second graders in Mrs. Daphne Shade's, Ms. Charissa Taylor's, and Ms. Claire Mitchell's class are working on fluency in reading. Parents are asked to practice fluency passages nightly. By January, students should be able to read 68 words in one minute. By the end of school, students should be able to read 90 words in one minute.

Second graders also should be reading their library books every night. Parents need to listen to their child read every night. Students are allowed to take AR tests on their library book.
