PTA fundraiser
Westhills Elementary School held its 2008 Coronation for King and Queen. This is a fundraising project for the Westhills PTA. This project funds many of the activities held throughout the year that benefit the students.
The students that participated in the contest were: JaWayne Early, Nykia Greene, Quinteria Jones, Kaddyjatou Jallow, Montavis Mouldin, Fatoumata Toure, Latoria Fuller, and Anterrius Harris..
The participants were paraded into the gym. The Adorable Kids choir sang a song. The participants were given a certificate of participation. The announcement was made that Latoria Fuller and Anterrius Harris were the new king and queen. Latoria is a 4th grader and Anterrius is in kindergarten.
The 2008-2009 King and Queen of Westhills Elementary will ride in the Bessemer Christmas Parade Saturday, Dec. 13.
