Each month students are encouraged to read books and take Accelerated Reader tests. Students take earn at least 10 AR points and have an average of 80% or higher are invited to Lunch in the Library. Lunch in the Library for November will be held Friday, Dec. 12. Karye Evans in Mrs. Shenita Fencher's 5th grade class earned 12.3 points and had an average of 94%A for the month. Karofala Toure, a 2nd grader in Ms. Charrisa Taylor's class earned 12.5 pts. And 93%A average for the month.
