Notes

1.       Thanks to all parents who came out to the parent meeting last week.

2.       Black History projects are due February 2, 2015.

3.       We will be traveling to the Children’s Hands on Museum and Fire Station in Tuscaloosa in March.

We will be going to Fire Station #1 and McDonalds in Tuscaloosa on March 23, 2015. Field trip money is due on February 20. The cost of the trip is $16. Space is limited so first come, first serve.

Progress Reports will come home soon.

4.       Supplies are very low. We are asking each student to send in 2- 12 pack of pencils, and 1-3pack of glue sticks. If everyone brings supplies, this should last us until the end of the year.

5.       Fluency goal- 70 words. Please continue to practice fluency every night and review sight word practice.

6.       PTA Membership. Please join $6.00 individual/ $10/family

7.       Please check agendas each night for daily homework. Students are responsible for writing their homework off the board each day. They will have at least 15 minutes to get homework copied off the board.

8.       Download the class dojo app to check on your child’s behavior each day. Please check your email for more information.

9.       Don’t forget to collect box tops. Please cut and trim them neatly.

10.   Study sight words daily.
