Mrs. Dale has 20+ years teaching experience in art, English and Gifted at the primary, secondary and post-secondary levels. While her base school is Westhills Elementary School, she also teaches at three additional Bessemer Schools: Abrams Elementary School, Jonesboro Elementary School, and Jess Lanier High School.

She has five children between the ages of ten and twenty-three. In her spare time she loves to garden, travel, cook, arrange flowers and paint. She also loves to walk in the Birmingham Botanical Gardens down the street from her home. A list of the foreign countries she has lived in or visited are Japan, the Philippines, Taiwan, Guam, Germany, Italy, Austria, Spain, Great Britain, Monaco, Switzerland, Holland, Denmark, France, Belgium, Greece, Turkey, Czechoslovakia, Mexico, and most of the islands in the Caribbean.
