Ms. Mildred L. Posey is originally from Bessemer, Alabama. She attended Hueytown High School in Hueytown, Alabama. She has attended Knoxville College, in Knoxville Tennessee, the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and Samford University, in Birmingham, Alabama.
Ms. Posey currently holds a M.A. in Elementary Education, a M.A. Certificate in Educational Administration, and an ED.S in Educational Administration.
Ms. Posey is single with three loving siblings. Two of her siblings are deceased and left two children, whom she has been raising. In addition Ms. Posey has two grandchildren. Her father is deceased.
Ms. Posey has serviced the Bessemer City School System for twenty-four years.
