A parental involvement workshop was held at Westhills in the Media Center Tuesday, Jan. 12.
The topic was creative writing. The presenter was Mrs. Linda Blocker. She did an excellent job showing parents how they can help their child with their creative writing. She also explained the Alabama Direct Assessment of Writing. (ADAW). Fifth graders take that test every year.
